Frequently Asked Questions...

​How does pick up and delivery work?
You just click on "Schedule a Pickup" and fill in your information. We will pick up your laundry when you request. We will text you when we are on our way and let you know that we picked it up if you are not home. We will return your laundry to you clean and ready to be put away.
How much is Pickup and delivery?
We charge $2.25 per pound for next day delivery and $1.95 for in-store drop off.
Do i need to be home?
You do not need to be home during the pickup and delivery windows, just make sure you state your preferred pickup location in your order details. Typical pickup and delivery spots for homeowners are front porches, while apartment / condo owners have the ability to leave it at their front door.
What should I expect during my first service?
​After you schedule your first pickup, please place all garments into a plastic bag such as a trash bag-NO HAMPERS- and place them in your designated pick up location. You will receive a text prior to pick up to confirm. Feel free to leave your clothes or stick around, we’ll get them as long as they’re in the designated area stated in your order notes.
What is the turnaround time?
​Turnaround time is next day, unless we pick up your clothes on Friday. Friday Pickups will be returned on Monday.
When do I get my clothes back after pick up?
Your clothes will be returned to you clean, folded and organized on the drop off day selected during the ordering process.
What is the standard procedure for doing laundry?
Our standard is to process your clothes using your selected detergents. We WASH all clothing in COLD water and DRY on MEDIUM heat.  Detergent options: All Free & Clear, Ecos, Tide, and Gain.  Softener options: Snuggle, Gain and Free & Clear Softener. We HANG all collared shirts , uniforms,  dresses and zippered jackets. Most other items will be folded unless specified. 
Can I request special preferences?
​We do our best to accommodate every request. If there’s something special we need to know just log into your account and update your laundry and folding instructions.
Do you offer Hypo-allergenic options?
​Yes we do!
We offer All Free & Clear and Ecos detergent and Free & Clear softener.
Do you recycle hangers?
Yes, we recycle hangers.  Send your hangers back with your dirty clothes and we will recycle them.
If you prefer to send your own hangers in, that's fine too.
When sending hangers to us, we kindly ask that you secure them with a rubberband or twist tie so they don't get tangled up.
Do you accept walk in orders?
Yes. We have 2 locations.

How do I know if you service my area?
The easiest way to know if your address is serviced is to sign up for an account  here. Once you enter your address you will be notified if your address is serviced. If your address is not currently serviced, and you live in Cumberland,  Harnett or Hoke  County call the store at (910) 229-2551. 
What are your pickup and delivery time slots?
We pick up and deliver laundry between the hours of 8am-2pm. With a 6-hour delivery window, we keep you notified by automated text messages when your driver has a more accurate ETA. However, most customers opt to leave their clothes out for pickup. If you have any notes on where to collect your clothes (ex. back porch, by garage door, etc) feel free to include those in your address notes. 
Do you offer dry cleaning?
Yes. If you have both dry cleaning and wash & fold items, please place separate orders for each service.
• Place all dry cleaning items in a separate bag and clearly mark the bag “Dry Cleaning.”
• We will pick up both your laundry and dry cleaning at the same time.
Your wash & fold laundry will be returned the next day.
Your dry cleaned items will be returned within 3–5 business days.
Minimum order requirements apply and are based on the combined total of both dry cleaning and wash & fold services.

Wash-Dry-Fold 

​Laundry Day is not responsible for:
 * clothing items that bleed, shrink, or otherwise change as a result of normal  washing.
 * lost articles unless proven we were responsible for loss.
 * any items left in our store over 30 days.
 * items labeled "hand wash only" or "dry clean only" ....we are not  responsible for checking  labels.  Please check before dropping your items off.
 * loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable  items left in clothing such as money, jewelry, cuff links, belts, or anything  else.  Though we try as hard as possible to track these items, we are not  responsible for them.
 * damage to your garments  from items left in pockets (lipstick, pen, gum, lighter, etc.)

Laundry  Day  does not guarantee removal of all stains.
Laundry Day  reserves  the right to refuse customers or refuse cleaning any item.
​We just have a few requests… when gathering  your laundry, we cannot accept
  • Oil/gas/flammable liquid soaked clothes/cloths
  • Please check your pockets before gathering your laundry. We are not responsible for damage due to items such as crayons and chapstick.
We are not responsible for damage to the following items if placed in your laundry for wash...
  • Sneakers
  • Rubber-backed rugs, etc.​​
All items placed in laundry bags will be washed and dried unless specified differently.
